Since 1992, The United States Open Music Competition has promoted the best of classical treasury among young musicians through our annual piano competition events and is committed to expanding the competition to include all aspects of classical repertoire in solo, duet, ensemble, and concerto events.

Scales Contest

Ever wonder why musicians spend so much time practicing scales? If you hadn’t realized it, scales are the things from which most music is made. Practicing scales also helps develop proper technique, dexterity, timing, muscle memory and ear training. Prizes will be awarded to the top contestants who demonstrate the most proficiency at playing scales. So start warming up those fingers and practice your scales!

Playing in the Band
Do you wish you had the opportunity to jam with other musicians? Have you been longing to play some of your favorite songs in a band? Love your private lessons, but lack actual playing experience? Would a regular performance opportunity help take your playing to the next level? Sign up for Jam Night, a monthly offering at Galina’s Music Studio. It’s all about playing, jamming and connecting with other similar students. You can try out new ideas from your lessons, perfect your technique – all in a comfortable, supportive live setting. National Guild of Piano Auditions

Fall Recital

Please join us for our Fall Recital on Saturday November 23rd at the First Presbyterian Church located at 2020 Fifth Street in Livermore. The recital will have two sessions. The first begins at 2:30pm and the second at 3:45pm. This free concert is open the public. We look forward to seeing you there.

Holiday Recital

Join us for our holiday recital featuring many classic holiday songs. The recital will be held at First Presbyterian Church located at 2020 Fifth Street in Livermore, CA. This is a free recital and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there.
Ukulele Circle
